Self-paced online learning

ARAISA has developed free self-paced training programs for employers wishing to deepen their intercultural competence, or for businesses wishing to encourage their entire leadership team or staff to increase their cultural competency.

These courses complement each other and together create a common language so that:

Employers can talk to employees about intercultural competency training
Employees can talk to supervisors about intercultural competency training
Staff from organizations serving newcomers can talk with and support employers
Intercultural competency training can be built into performance appraisals

BUILDING WELCOMING WORKPLACES - AN INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYERS

This is the online version of the intercultural competency training currently offered to AIP employers. It is a great way to review what you learned or to share with other members of your leadership team.

Please note that this version of the course does not meet the requirement for becoming a designated employer under the AIP. To find more about training requirements, click here.

EMBRACING WELCOMING WORKPLACES – AN INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING PROGRAM FOR FRONTLINE EMPLOYEES

This course is specifically designed for employees and explores strategies to reduce barriers and improve sense of belonging for newcomer employees. This course is also suitable for employers who would like to learn more either before or after completing the Building Welcoming Workplaces course.
